About

At Dormway, the quality of our work is underpinned by strong family values that have guided and governed our business practices for over 40 years.
Dormway was founded in 1982 by Managing Director, John Gri. With a skilled and committed team (many of whom remain key members of the company today), Dormway began by providing pipeline construction services to developers and local authorities across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Over the past 40 years we have built strong and lasting relationships with our clients, all the while developing and expanding our scope of services to meet both the growing needs of our clients and those of our expanding business and team.
The expertise of our dedicated team combined with strong business practices and a solid project delivery track record has secured our reputation as ‘the infrastructure and pipeline construction specialists’.
Why Dormway?
Having successfully delivered well over 1,500 projects, Dormway are respected by utilities and local government as the ‘problem-solvers’ who can be relied upon to deliver, regardless of project complexity. We understand the unique challenges facing local authorities, utilities and commercial developers and strive to provide real world, successful solutions.
We have the expertise, the experience and the resources to successfully and safely deliver our projects on schedule to the highest standards of quality.

Quality Policy
Our Commitment:
We are committed to a policy of providing high quality products and services which meet the requirements of our customers. Our goal is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Commitment to the implementation of supporting managerial and business operational systems is essential to realising this goal.
Within this Policy we are committed to operating our company under the disciplines and control of a Quality Management System conforming to IS0 9001 which is planned and developed jointly with our other management functions.
We believe in the concept of client and supplier working together in pursuing this policy and in continually striving for improvements in quality.
Our quality policy is based on 3 fundamental principles:
- Ensuring that we identify and conform to the needs of our customers.
- Looking at our internal processes, identifying the potential for errors and taking the necessary action to eliminate them.
- Everyone understanding how to do their job and doing it right first time.
Quality is a shared responsibility. To ensure that the policy is successfully implemented, customer requirements will be identified and communicated. Workers will be responsible for following the correct procedures to meet these requirements. We are all committed to operating continuously as a team to this standard and we will maintain the necessary quality approvals consistent with our customer requirements.
We will constantly review and improve on our services to ensure tasks are completed in the most cost effective and timely manner for the benefit of our customers. Objectives to ensure that the requirements of this policy are met and to promote continual improvement, will be determined and monitored at Management Review.
The quality policy principles and objectives will be communicated and available to all workers. Training will be an integral part of the strategy to achieve the objectives. We shall ensure that all our personnel understand and fully implement our policies and objectives and are able to perform their duties effectively through an ongoing training and development programme.
This policy shall be reviewed on an annual basis.
